Tahla Tessier

Tahla Tessier was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but spent much of her life growing up in Birmingham, Alabama and considers herself an Alabama girl through and through. Growing up, she has always been fascinated by storytelling visual art mediums like animated cartoons and comics. She decided to go to the University of Alabama at Birmingham for a bachelor degree in studio art with a focus in painting to gain the skills to be a better story artist.
Tahla's main love is to develop the art work for a story. Whether it is designing characters for clients, building up the environment, or creating concept work for a story, she is there for the job. She has worked to create character designs, book covers, and several other art projects for clients. She considers herself a versatile artist and plans to dabble in many different art fields, such as visual development and sequential art. She also has several stories to tell and plans on creating comics in her own time.
